Melissa A. Smith,  licensed massage therapist, graduated from the 750-hour medical massage therapy program at Miami Valley Career Technology Center, in Clayton, Ohio. Melissa is licensed by the State of Ohio Medical Board in 2006

Melissa�s journey into medical massage began with a serious back injury that required surgery. Once she found out the benefits of massage therapy, she wanted everyone to experience the relief she found through massage. Melissa continues to build upon her knowledge base by continued learning from experienced professionals. She believes that in order to grow in one�s profession, one must continue to learn.

Melissa is skilled in Swedish Massage, On-site Chair Massage, Hot Stone Massage , Myofascial Release Therapy, Interferential Vibration Therapy, and Precision Neuromuscular Therapy. In addition she has several hours of Client Centered Care at the Institute of Holistic Leadership. Currently, she is taking courses for certification in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy & has completed all of the level 1 courses continuing on to level 2.

Melissa is dedicated to each individual client, and tailors every massage to benefit each person�s specific needs. She looks forward to assisting your body in the healing process through skilled massage therapy.
